Jokai Botanical Garden, a broadleaf forest is spread over an area of 12 Hectare of land and located 12 km from Dibrugarh town of Assam .The Forest department has set up a conservatory of germplasm of some of the valuable and endangered species of flora of this region showcasing the rich floral biodiversity of the region. The area is a favourite place for birders .Some of the species found here are Small Niltava, Little Pied Flycatcher, Black-winged and Large Cuckoo-shrikes, Green Pigeons, Jay-walking Emerald Dove, Red headed Trogon, Crimson Sunbird, Ruby Cheeked Sunbird, Scarlet Backed Flowerpecker, Black breasted Thrush etc. During spring season, the asian emerald cuckoo and flycatchers has been sighted here.
